XP Church for Gamers

Shame causes us to believe that we are monsters because we see ourselves through the lens of the mistakes that we have committed or the sins that we struggle with. So we see God as a Monster Hunter trying to track us down to punish us for our wrongdoings (Hence why Adam+Eve hid from God in the garden). God does not hunt monsters. God pursues His children. The enemy uses shame to keep us from God. But God uses His kindness to draw us back to Him, Romans 8:37-39.
