There are many things that pass down from parents to children. Not everything passes down and if you are really intentional, you learn to let go of the bad and hold on to the good. In this story, Isaac lives out the exact narrative of his father Abraham. That said, there is much in Isaac that was different between father and son. However, what remains the same more than anything is the continued covenant line that God had promised.
