A new proposal suggests the Federal Reserve could purchase 200,000 Bitcoin per year for five years — potentially building a 1 million Bitcoin national reserve. If that happens, other countries may follow. Some already have. For example, El Salvador became the first nation to adopt Bitcoin as legal tender and begin building national reserves.
