Joni Taylor is the women’s basketball head coach at Texas A&M. In high school, she was the 1997 Gatorade Player of the Year in the state of Mississippi, and she went on to play at Alabama from 1997-2001. After her playing career was over, she turned to coaching, which has included stops at Troy, Louisiana Tech, Alabama, LSU and Georgia as an assistant before being named the head coach at Georgia in 2015.
