Beginnings of Revolution | Drive Thru American History - Episode 3
Drive Thru History with Dave Stotts
Boston is where the American Revolution began. The Boston Massacre of 1770 ignited the minds and hearts of Colonists, leading up to the Boston Tea Party of 1773. We visit the Old North Church, where lanterns signaled Paul Revere’s ride. The Revolutionary War officially begins at the Battles of Lexington and Concord, soon followed by the Battle of Bunker Hill, the first significant confrontation in the American Revolution.
