We saw last week in verses 1-14 that without mentioning Him by name, John described Jesus as the eternal Word, Life, and Light. He is the creator of the world who put on flesh and came to earth in order to be close to us. His strongest desire is that we would believe in Him and Receive Him so that we would be born into His family as God’s children.
