John 18:28-40: I Find No Fault

This week we look at the trial, or more rightly stated, the mistrial of Jesus. Never has anyone so just been treated so unjustly as Jesus. The lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world was treated as sin on our behalf. Our lesson focuses on His appearance before Pilate, who finds no fault in Him. Jesus went through a series of trials and proved there is no guilt in Him, and ended up condemned anyway. That was God’s plan, and as we’ve said before it’s both the greatest tragedy in history…
