Houston Fire Department retirees Tom and Lisa Slagle spent their careers serving our community and rescuing those in danger. When Hurricane Harvey struck, these local heroes had to come to grips with the fact that the roles were reversed and they were the ones in need of help. Tom & Lisa are active members of Houston's First Baptist Church and faithfully serve on the Guest Experience Team at The Loop Campus — one of many ways they give back to the church!
